Italian cuisine has always been an easy choice when it comes to express comfort food. Delivery, accessibility and promotion make everything easier for some pizza labels, but one should not miss the lifetime opportunity to try out true Italian, wood fire pizza (yes, not those cheezy crust sambal belacan shit lol).
One of my favourite places for good pizza is Eatalia in Desa Sri Hartamas. It was known as Pizza Brava back then but no worries, as they had just undergone rebrand of the name. The pizza and quality is still as good as I could remember! :) If you're in KL, you have to take a trip to give this place a try.
Brand new spanking menu. Felt like I had actual pizza on my menu and not flipping through a typical menu book. And so much to choose! OMG OMG. If you're unsure which to pick, just let the staff know your preference and I'm sure you'd get to pick something super awesome! Prices vary, depending on the type and size of pizza. But it'd cost a decent amount in between RM20-RM30+.
As I'd pick a tomato based pizza, I had to try their cream based Seafood Carbonara pasta. There's this love-hate relationship between me and creamy cheesy sauces back then from other Italian restaurants and I'd poorly suffered for 4 hours, but this is too good! You just have to try it - light creamy carbonara sauce yet not overpowering - it just hits your palette well.
My cheesy meaty pizza - the right crisp crust, the generous portion of meat, the perfect amount of cheese and sauce to die for. Add a dash of black pepper and Tabasco and Ma-ma-MIA!
