When it comes to cheap home DIYs you can always count on Daiso to pick up amazing Japanese inventions to ease your daily life, or not. 😉 Tbh, this has been sitting on the sink for years (I've totally lost count) and why not try to clean up this 10 year old washing machine?
Followed the instructions to leave a packet of granules into a full load washing machine for 7kg & below and 2x Packets for 7kg and above washing machine load. These granules should dissolve within 2-3 minutes and if it doesn't give it a quick washing mode on to speed things up. This should be left for 2-3 hours, and guess what this kiasu Asian had to leave it for 3 hours.
Let's see how it goes...and totally praying that this RM5.60 Daiso Tub Cleaner Granule works.
This was a shot of the washing machine after 1.5 hours. We've another 1.5hours to go baby. You can tell that water is slightly murky, hopefully all the dirt, dust and gunk will be removed.
After 3 hours, set washing machine to 'Clean Tub' mode. You can see that the drum seemed sparkler, like it had gone for a good polish.
Wow, and check out those gunk that came out.
After the Clean Tub. Worth it? Yes. Even with vinegar & baking soda and some cleaning detergent, I couldn't get much off. And yes, you're welcome.
