Must Try! One of a kind Fish Steamboat - Yugami Steamboat Sri Petaling

Hey peeps, how have you been? And thanks for tuning in though I've not been updating as much as I want. Nothing much has changed, but have started with a new job, and of course lots of daily life drama (don't we just need those? NOT) :)

Am ecstatic to share this new place for soup, vege, seafood or steamboat lovers! But you gotta come in pax of 3(at least) to enjoy this or you'll have food coma. And I swear this has to be the most interesting steamboat find to date in KL. And if you're sick of the usual boring steamboat with cheap, processed ingredients, I highly recommend this! 😘 💖

Yugami Steamboat, Desa Petaling

First, let me take you through what and how to order, before I leave you with wet chins (from the salivating Hehe).

1. Pick your pot & type of broth. And you can pick the amount of fish (fried fresh fish meat). As a beginner, you have to try the Fish Pot. And also Curry Fish Pot. OMG (salivating again)!

We went with half fish pot & curry fish pot with 300G of fish.

2. Order your sides - you can add in the usual steamboat ingredients (vege, meat etc). And don't forget to try the Squid Ink Sotong Balls.

Our half fish-curry pot! Look at the amount of fish! And nope, whatever ingredient you see here comes with the pot broth that you've ordered. Look at how generous the curry pot is!!

Loads and loads of  fish + ingredients!

3. Standby 2 bowls for each pot broth. And indulge!

From the fish pot - must order their tofu - so slippery and smooth!! This fish pot broth is amazing, power packed with rich flavor that's not overpowering. And I gotta remind you again, look at the fish meat!! :)

From the curry pot - so amazingly good too! It reminds me of the curry noodles served at great chinese coffee shops/nyonya style. And of course, I didn't miss out on the vegetable - cabbage, long beans, brinjal and pineapple. And.....fish meat!! For small eaters, I think you can even skip with adding extra ingredients and just salvage from the steamboat pot.

Remember the squid ink sotong balls? And check out the sotong portions (white bits). Yummehh!

Was so hungry and while the steamboat pot was being prepped, we ordered crispy fish skin to snack on. For most, they'd not enjoy (not seasoned) but was okay for me. Taste similar to the seaweed crisp from CNY snacks. Yep, that great!

Sauce up!

4. Second rounds? Try other broths

Wow!! Asam Laksa broth?

Seafood Tom Yam Broth, Tomato with Potato Broth and even Vegetarian broth.
